How to add minimize and maximize button in Linux

I don’t know why some Linux distros neglect minimize and maximize button in the windows title bar. I find the minimize and maximize button very useful. Though the buttons can be added very easily. You need to install the tweak tool.

To install tweak tool, run the following command.

sudo apt install gnome-tweak-tool

I am using Debian based Pop! OS.

You can also install the tweak tool in fedora also which also comes without the minimize and maximize button. Run the following command on fedora.

sudo dnf install gnome-tweak-tool

Now, search for tweaks and make necessary changes in windows tittle bar menu.

Now you will have minimize and maximize button on your windows title bar in your favorite Linux distro.
